Ontic appoints Saywell as their exclusive distributor for India

Ontic Engineering & Manufacturing (Ontic) the leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineered parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, has appointed Saywell International as its sole and exclusive distributor of all Ontic military products supplied into India, including Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), with effect from 24th November 2022.

This 10 year landmark agreement ensures Saywell International will be Ontic’s sole supplier of products sold in India, under the support and authority of Ontic.

New inventory just arrived at Aviation Centre from LOTAMS, Poland. 6000 lines of consumable material for Boeing 737NG, ATR, E170/175/190/195, and ERJ145. Now being received at Aviation Centre, UK and will be listed on ILS very soon.

ERJ135/145 Surplus Inventory Acquisition

New Distribution Line – APS Black Steel

Saywell International are proud to have been awarded a distribution contract with FAA-PMA manufacturer APS Black Steel of Illinois, USA. APS offer cost effective, high quality brake discs, linings and pins from their trademark “Black Steel” range to suit a huge variety of aircraft, as well as long lasting silicone replacement gaskets for many Lycoming engines.

Just received into our warehouse is a new surplus GA inventory from Centreline Aviation in Bristol. The package contains hundreds of lines of fully traceable spare parts for a variety of light aircraft such as Cessna, Beechcraft, Grumman and Piper. All will be offered at very competitive prices.

BASF Corporation Extend Global Distribution

BASF Corporation and Saywell International have extended their Global Distribution
Agreement covering Ozone and Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) converters. Under the
terms of the agreement, Saywell International will continue to provide aftermarket sales
and support and to manage repairs and overhauls through the BASF facility in Huntsville,
Alabama.

Saywell International MD, Peter Saywell commented. “We are happy to renew our longterm
relationship with BASF. This extended agreement provides us with the stability to
continue our investment in this product line. We have over sixteen years of experience on
these components. With our extensive inventory in both our UK and USA facilities, we are
well prepared to support the customer”.

BASF has invested in more equipment and can now offer a fast track overhaul service,
reducing costs and turnaround time. Using the original equipment manufacturer gives
customers the reassurance that the components are being fully serviced as per the
manufacturers specifications, thus preserving performance and warranty conditions.

New Dash 8 Inventory from Amakusa Airlines

Saywell International are pleased to announce the arrival of two forty foot container loads of Dash 8 spares.

The package from Amakusa Airlines, contains large quantities of rotable and consumable equipment including an APU, propeller, avionics, spoiler actuator, flap power unit, rudder actuator and leading edge assemblies.

Amakusa Airlines are based in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, operating regional services with a main base at Amakusa Airfield. Growth in passenger numbers led to a change from the Dash 8-103 to the larger ATR42 aircraft type. Our dedicated team of experienced staff are on hand 24/7 to handle enquiries. Inventory levels can be checked via the Saywell website, on ILS or Partsbase.

New inventory from KLM UK Engineering

Saywell International have this week taken delivery of a large package of surplus inventory from KLM UK Engineering. The stock contains 15,000 line items of fully traceable consumable and rotable material for the Boeing 737-300 Classic, BAE146, Fokker, 50, Fokker 70, and Fokker 100. All parts are now listed on ILS, Partsbase and our website where quote requests can be submitted directly to our sales team.

Acquisition of Envoy Air (formerly American Eagle Airlines) ATR inventory

Saywell International are pleased to announce the purchase of a large package of ATR spares from Envoy Air (formerly American Eagle Airlines) containing over 15,000 lines of rotable and consumable equipment.

The first of twelve 40ft container loads of parts will be arriving at our UK facility this month. All of the inventory will be held strategically between our UK and USA facilities.

Our dedicated team of experienced staff are on hand 24/7 to handle ATR enquiries and inventory levels can be checked via the Saywell website.

This latest acquisition reinforces our commitment to the future of ATR support and secures our place in the market as one of the World’s largest independent stockists for the ATR platform.

The image below shows the inventory at the end of November just after the final container had been unloaded in to our unit F. The Saywell stores team have already started work inspecting, scanning paperwork into our system and locating the parts in our bonded warehouse.

The Sussex Snowdrop Trust are a unique local charity to the Sussex area which provides nursing care at home for local children with life-threatening or terminal illnesses and support for their families.

The first batch of inventory comprising rotable and consumable parts for BAE 146/Avro RJ, CRJ200, ATR42/72, DHC8-Q400, DHC8-300, ERJ145 and Embraer E170/E190 has already been transferred to the Saywell UK headquarters in Sussex and is now available for immediate sale.
