17th December 2007 - Appointed J31/J32 sole spares support for BAE SYSTEMS
On 17 December 2007 BAE SYSTEMS appointed Saywell International to be their sole distribution centre for Jetstream 31/32 spares which commences on 4th February 2008.

This spares support agreement utilises our expertise and experience in after market aerospace support and consolidates BAE SYSTEMS entire global inventory of J31/J32 spares in to our UK head office.

25th June 2007 - Saywell International Opens new headquarters
It was only 10 years ago that we moved into our prestigious 50,000 sq ft facility, Aviation House. Due to further expansion and acquisitions we have moved into larger premises to consolidate our entire UK inventory into one 175,000 sq ft location.

26 May 2006 - Saywell International Completes Acquisition of Wessex Aerospace
Saywell International would like announce the completion of it's acquisition of Wessex Aerospace Ltd.

This purchase was finalised on Friday 26th May 2006. Please be advised that from immediate effect all transactions with Wessex Aerospace Ltd will now be handled by Saywell International.

This acquisition will further enhance Saywell International's already extensive inventory of BN Islander & Trislander spares.

4 May 2004 - Purchased ATR72 Inventory
Saywell International expands our Aircraft Support to cover the ATR 72 by purchasing the entire British Airways stock holding for this aircraft. This includes consumables, rotables, tooling and complete engines (PW124B).

15 April 2004 - Saywell Sign Thales Optronics Sole Distribution Agreement
Saywell International has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Thales Optronics (Taunton), for civil aircraft Pitots and Attitude monitors.

Thales pitots are used on the BN Islander, Trislander, BAE 146, HS125, HS748, RJ100, F27 and CASA. The attitude monitors are used on the Airbus A320 & A330. This new agreement will enable us to increase stock levels and product range to better support operators of these aircraft.

With the growing success of Saywell International’s partnership, the Engelhard Corporation have increased our exclusive territories to encompass North & South America and Australasia. This decision reflects both Engelhard’s and Saywell International’s commitment to after market sales and servicing.

12th May 2003 - New 5 year contract with BN
Saywell International is pleased to announce the renewal of their Sole Distributor status for all Britten-Norman approved aircraft parts.

This five year contract with Britten-Norman shows our commitment to the support of Civil BN Fleet through our world wide network of local offices.

10th March 2003 - Singapore Office
Saywell International opens a regional office in Singapore, to help support our Far Eastern Customers.

15th July 2002 - New Trading Name
RF Saywell Limited, after 57 years of aerospace spares support, are proud to announce that, with effect from 15th July 2002, we will be trading as Saywell International.

This change reflects our rising status in regards to our global operations and growth in international markets.

We shall remain the same legal entity and all bank account and registration details will remain the same.
